Having met in 2015, Thomas, Marco and Christian set out to build the investing experience they would want to recommend to their best friends.

Between 2015 and 2019, the team of three built the core of Trade Republic silently in a backyard in the heart of Berlin. They applied for a German license and iterated the product.
